RS4 B5 Misano Red
In September 1999, Audi presented the RS4 as the successor to the RS2, which had been developed in collaboration with Porsche from spring 1994 to summer 1995. Unlike its predecessor, however, the RS4 was a product of the wholly-owned Audi subsidiary quattro GmbH, which has been responsible for Audi sports models since the end of the 1990s. Like its predecessor, the car was only available as an Avant (estate) and was based on the A4 of the B5 series.
RS4 B5 Imola Yellow
This is my imola yellow RS4, affectionately known as “Bumblebee”. The RS4 B5 was only available in Europe and was offered from the end of 1999 at a base price of around 127,000 DM at the time. Production of the first RS4 ended in September 2001 after 6030 units. Initially only half as many were planned, but demand was so high that Audi doubled production. The last vehicles were registered as 2002 models.
997.1 Turbo
This is my 997 Turbo, affectionately known as the Turbiene. The 997 generation 911 Turbo was launched in June 2006. Thanks to turbocharging with two exhaust gas turbochargers, the new turbo 911 initially produced 353 kW (480 hp). The engine was the first gasoline engine in series production to feature turbochargers with variable turbine geometry (VTG), which were developed in collaboration with BorgWarner. The inlet-side guide vanes in the turbocharger could be dynamically adjusted.
